By Farai D Hove| ZANU PF President Emmerson Mnangagwa has cancelled his own rally slated for today, it has emerged.

Mnangagwa was scheduled to conduct his Thank You rally at the prestigious Rainbow Towers open area, the same famed for playing host to his rival, Nelson Chamisa just before the 2018 elections.

But the function has been cancelled, it has emerged.

Sources suggested that it has been moved to next weekend.

Reasons for the cancellation were that the 77 year old will be attending a funeral.

The development comes just after Mnangagwa bunked his own dialogue meeting he had demanded Chamisa to attend, only to fail to turn up himself.
