By Own Correspondent- St Charles Lwanga pupils are now in Mutare after being evacuated from their school following the destruction of their school premises by Tropical Cyclone Idai leaving 2 students and a security guard dead and others injured.

The-weary students, who walked over 15km carrying the bodies of their fallen colleagues were taken to Chipinge and later Mutare where they re- united with their parents.

The traumatised students held a mass and prayer session amid indications that the majority of them needed counselling services to help them cope with their encounter.

Said one parent who spoke to ZimEye:

“I cannot speak. All I can say is thank you Jesus”.
