By Own Correspondent| Deputy Information Minister Energy Mutodi has accused opposition MDC leader of being an attention seeker adding that government could not evacuate villagers in Chimanimani as this would have attracted more sanctions.

In a tweet posted Friday, Mutodi said:

“The attention seeking opposition MDC Chamisa is complaining that government should have earlier on evicted people from low lying areas affected by Tropical Cyclone Idai but we are sure they would have complained bitterly citing human rights abuses and called for more sanctions if we did that.”
