By Own Correspondent- The Southern African Development Community (SADC) has donated US$500 000 to three member countries that suffered the devastating effects of Tropical Cyclone Idai, namely Zimbabwe, Malawi and Mozambique.

The financial donations are as follows:

• Mozambique – US$200 000
• Malawi – US$150 000
• Zimbabwe – US$150 000
