MDC deputy National Youth Chair, Shakespeare Mukoyi was arrested for attempted murder and spent the whole day at ZRP Harare central before being released into the custody of his lawyer Obey Shava. Allegations are that, on 16 January 2019, while in full mititary compat, Shakespeare shot a Zanu pf activist on the right thigh with an AK47 riffle.

Shakespeare will be appearing in court soon to answer to the charges.
