Jane Mlambo| The race for MDC Presidency seems to be a done deal for incumbent Nelson Chamisa who has to date received six out six nominations from the provinces that have so far held provincial elections.
This has left Secretary General Douglas Mwonzora and Vice President Elias Mudzuri who according to party sources have only been mentioned but not seconded in the ongoing internal process.
Chamisa who took over the reigns following the death of Morgan Tsvangirai seems to be enjoying an edge on his counterparts who are looking for at least a single nomination to challenge their boss.
Yesterday, the party was in Chinhoyi Mashonaland West and the template remained the same, no Mwonzora, no Mudzuri.
Mwonzora has however a ray of hope after receiving a single nomination for the position of Secretary General and would be hoping if the Presidium chances fall off can bank on squaring off with Charlton Hwende who has five nominations.
