By Own Correspondent- President Emmerson Mnangagwa has revealed that he is aware of some plots organized by the internal Zanu PF mafia group to discredit his leadership.

He said this while addressing the national youth indaba at the party’s headquarters in Harare recently.

Said Mnangagwa:

“I am quite aware of machinations of the enemy to destabilise the party by causing despondency and disunity among our rank and file,” he said.

Mnangagwa also stated that the mafia group was also responsible for what happened early this year in January where there were a lot of expulsions and vote of no confidence in the party, which he later reversed.

He also highlighted to the youth that its a new dispensation and they should concentrate on positive people who want to see the country growing. He advised them to be strong and very careful in any case the enemy might want to sow seeds of disunity among the youths.-Newsday
