By Own Correspondent| Zimbabwe Electoral Commission (ZEC) chairperson Justice Priscilla Chigumba has revealed that the elections body only had a 2 percent margin of error given that there was no room for the manipulation of the elections outcome.

Justice Chigumba said this at a recently held 2018 elections review meeting by the elections body.

She said:

“The law prescribes that after vote counting in every polling station the presiding officer should give completed V11 forms to observers and agents of political parties. This increases transparency. In the 2018 results, ZEC had a 2% margin of error against the accepted 10%.”
