Targeted Sanctions On Mnangagwa Have Helped Stop Mass Murder Of Tens Of Thousands Of Zimbabweans In The Last 2 Years Alone

Zimbabweans should be grateful
- Targeted sanctions on Emmerson Mnangagwa and his elite by the United States government have helped stop the mass murder of thousands of Zimbabweans. Mnangagwa was filmed on LIVE broadcast camera on 15th Dec 2017 plotting to kill tens of thousands just so he could change election results so that they match a percentage “greater than the one we (ZANU PF) did” in 1980 elections [Presidential Advisor’s speech as Mnangagwa smiled]. There is no doubt that tens of thousands would have been killed in the last two years alone – Emmerson Mnangagwa who got 22,000 killed 1982-4, is on public video boasting that he is a mass murderer, “trained to kill and destroy” and even saying he wishes he was God and if so he would deprive all MDC members of oxygen. In recent months he is on camera presiding over a state house declaration to deploy the army against civilians so to change election results, the precise date being the 15th December 2017, at Harare Showgrounds (full LIVE video available). There were no sanctions between 1983 and 2000, and yet Mnangagwa personally got 22,000 people killed in under 2 years alone – 1983 to 84.
- Sanctions have helped stop the illegal raiding of private businesses. Between 1982 and 2019 when numerous businesses have been taken away from their owners, Mnangagwa has in public announced that “anyone who makes a mistake, must be stripped of their assets and be violently bashed. – uyo anenge akanganisa, ngaagoterwe nhaka yavakapihwa naJehovah, ngaarobwe!”
- Targeted sanctions have successfully forced Emmerson Mnangagwa’s government to admit that it needs to reform its institutions and laws that are in breach of UN charters. In 2019 for instance, Mnangagwa moved to remove the Public Order And Security Act in line with demands by western governments for targeted sanctions to be reversed.
- Instead of animosity towards the US govt, targeted sanctions have led to Mnangagwa throwing heaps of praises for Donald Trump and even personally boasting to be associated with Donald Trump (speech at Ngangu April 2019); it even got Mnangagwa engage in affectionate boasts about Trump’s currency. He also said Trump’s national currency is more trustworthy while his(Mnangagwa’s) is not trusted.
- Targeted sanctions have also helped force Mnangagwa to reassign some of the generals responsible for the cruel mass shootings of 1 August 2018. Although the number of soldiers reassigned was small, there is no doubt sanctions have had a demonstrative impact, as the British Minister for Africa Harriet Baldwin said before the UK parliament in Feb 2019.
