The latest of South Africa’s national elections results last night showed that the African National Congress was leading in 70.7% of all declared districts.

ANC had nearly 57% of the ballot, well ahead of the Democratic Alliance (DA) which followed on with 23%. The Economic Freedom Fighters was far behind with 10%.

Last night there were numerous complaints about irregularities in the voting process and an audit was commissioned. The Independent Electoral Commission promised to conduct a full audit before the final results are announced which is likely on Saturday. Below was the LIVE video coverage:
