By Own Correspondent- Information and publicity minister, Monica Mutsvangwa has said government is aware that “certain big people” are behind the escalating foreign currency black market rate which has influenced the unjustified price increases nationally..

Addressing the media in a post cabinet briefing, Mutsvangwa said the net was closing in on the people behind the illegal parallel market.

Said Mutsvangwa:

“Do you think those young people without shoes are the ones who are behind the parallel market? It will be folly to believe that. We know that they are big people behind them. I think it is time we start to deal with that and expose these people.”
