Farai Dziva|MDC A senator Lilian Timveous has said party members should focus on defeating Zanu PF- instead of jostling for positions.

Senator Timveous who was vying for the post of vice president said she would not be put off by her failure to land the post.

I congratulate the President of Zimbabwe, Advocate Nelson Chamisa, for being endorsed by congress as The President of the Movement for Democratic Change (MDC).

I also congratulate all the leaders who won at the 2019 MDC Congress.
The President was there throughout the cold nights of Gweru and worked hard to see the success of our Congress
I want to also thank Our people that made huge sacrifices to be at congress, endure the cold nights of Gweru and vote for their favourite candidates.

The provinces, districts and wards did a wonderful job. I was really overwhelmed by the show of confidence. The team spirit and unity of purpose was astounding. Tinotenda hama dzangu (siyabonga zihlobo). Mwari ndiye anogadza vatungamiriri (All leaders are made by God).

I want to Thank Senators, Members of Parliament and Councillors throughout Zimbabwe who assisted in taking care of our delegates, a lot of funding was needed to feed and take care of delegates. … Munogona, Your love and Support always goes unnoticed but it’s very much appreciated, SIYABONGA Bakhokheli bethu’
Let us work hard for the people of Zimbabwe.

I also want to thank all those who put in their own resources to propel my campaign. I am humbled. I have travelled back to Harare because of work and I can say with all confidence that I am safe and sound. I will never sell out the People’s struggle.
