Dancehall Artist Castigates Political Violence

Farai Dziva|Zim Dancehall artist Ras Caleb has produced a song that denounces political violence and victimization of youths and women.

The song was produced in collaboration with COTRAD, a Masvingo based NGO.

Ras Caleb Featuring Ti-Gonzi in collaboration with Community Tolerance Reconciliation and Development (COTRAD) produced a video titled “Peace and Justice”.

The video encourages all Zimbabweans (Elders, Youth and women) to desist from all sorts violence.

The song reminds people that, it is everyone’s responsibility to guard against the disease of violence so that Zimbabwe will remain a peaceful country.

The video shows and explains the negativity of all forms violence and human rights violations and abuse.

The Artists urged people to unite and peacefully work together in building the Zimbabwe we want.

The Artists insisted that as a people we should not be rivals, we don’t need to waste time fighting each other.

As a country we want peace, we want unity, we want one love we want equal rights and justice. Love your neighbour as you love yourself.
