By Own Correspondent| NAMIBIA Defence Force member was arrested after he allegedly fatally shot a taxi driver during the early hours of Thursday.

The man has been identified as Talent Fambauone Black.

According to police spokesperson chief inspector Kauna Shikwambi, the soldier was in the company of a police officer during a ‘Operation Kalahari Desert’ patrol.

Shikwambi said the taxi driver was shot after he allegedly tried to make a U-turn to avoid the police manning a roadblock that was set up in Monica Street at Greenwell Matongo informal settlement.
