By Own Correspondent| In an interview with ZimEye shortly after the arrival of the Zim Gems, president of the Zimbabwe Netball Association, Leticia Chipandu revealed that the Zimbabwean delegation comprised of 43 people.

She said:

“Contrary to earlier reports, there are only 43 people who are here as you can see.For now we do not have any ministers. I do not know, maybe they will arrive later but I don’t know.

…It is also not true that the team has not been paid because these girls have contracts which we are ready to share with those who ate interested.

As we are talking, government has already paid for their accomodation. The money has already been wired. Things are under control.”
