Opposition MPs should the stop deception and double standards.

They still bring up the legitimacy argument at every opportunity yet they remain in Parliament- getting remuneration from the same government which they claim is illegitimate.

I say to them abandon Parliament, resign as Mps and refuse to take any allowances from the Government and let Zanu PF go it alone if indeed you want your boycott to be effective for the world to believe you. You can’t keep ranting about 2018 election outcome yet you know results of those elections wont change no matter what. Its water under the bridge now and its time for a new strategy or else 2023 will come and find your party in a state of confusion.

The late Morgan Tsvangirai(May his soul rest in peace), whenever he called for demos, he would lead people from the front, marching with them, something we dont see in the current opposition leadership. These demos lack strategy and proper organisation.

The approach is disappointingly the same, chaotic and no direction as leaders are never there to give guidance and control their supporters. I find these demos not helpful at all, its only the ordinary people who end up in hospitals nursing injuries or Chikurubi Maximum & Khami Prisons.

I wonder why they always put our people at risk with these meaningless protests which expose them to the ruthless riot police. Its time for all the political parties, the general public, civic society to get together and have a dialogue with the government to save our country from the ecomic doldrums.

Lastly, it has been reported that MDC Mps will shun diplomatic passports yet some of them already have those passports. This has always been the case with the MDCA. They seek good opinion from the public on issues that themselves benefit from.

They unite with ZANU PF MPs in fighting for increases in their allowances, motor vehicles purchases etc. Double standards should stop, they say unpleasant things about the other side only when it suits them, but unite with the same side when it comes to issues that has personal benefit to them as MPs.

Those Mps can fool people sometimes but they cannot fool all the people all the time.
