The Zimbabwe Gender Commission has instituted investigations against Prophetic Healing and Deliverance Ministries founder, Prophet Walter Magaya over alleged sexual abuses.

The Commission has since invited any person or victim with evidence or complaints against the clergyman.

Making the announcement in a Government Gazette published on Friday (today), Commission Chairperson, Mrs Margaret Mukahanana-Sangarwe said:

It is hereby notified that, in terms of Section Five of the Zimbabwe Gender Commission Act (Chapter 10:31) the Zimbabwe Gender Commission intends to investigate complaints of sexual abuse of women by Walter Magaya of Prophetic Healing and Deliverance Ministries.

A large number of women including actress, Charity Dlodlo, previously came out accusing the preacher of having sexually abused them.

Some even claimed that there were kids belonging to Magaya who were born after the clergyman had violated his female counterparts.

These accusations, however, would not stay for a sustained period of time as the accusers would dramatically withdraw the charges, some accusing the devil of having used them to institute those cases.
