Jane Mlambo| The opposition MDC has threatened to report the ruling Zanu PF to the Zimbabwe Electoral Commission (ZEC) for violating the electoral rules after the party announced that it was drilling 15 boreholes in Glen View South ahead of the by-election to replace the late Vimbai Tsvangirai.

Responding to a Zanu PF Twitter mole by the name Kudzai Mutisi who posted pictures of drilling machines at work in Glen View, MDC Secretary for Elections Jacob Mafume said they will be writing to ZEC about the abuse of state institutions.

“Thank you alerting us again to another election violation .We will be writing to ZEC about this abuse of state institutions,” said Mafume.

Campaigning is underway in Glen View to fill the parliamentary vacancy left following the death of Vimbai Tsvangirai early this year.
