Two Bulawayo men lost cash amounting to ZAR 8850, RTGS $40 and various properties through robbery at 292km peg along Bulawayo- Beitbridge road on 1/11/19 at about 0100 hours. The victims had sustained a tyre puncture on their Toyota Hiace Vehicle towing a trailer and
they decided to sleep in the vehicle on the roadside. After about 20 minutes, 6 accused persons armed with machetes and axes pounced on the vehicle and smashed the front passenger window. They assaulted the victims with fists and open hands before searching them and
4 accused persons force marched the complainants into a nearby bushy whilst 2 others were searching for valuables. We urge motorists to quickly move away from dark spots at night after vehicle breakdowns.@ZimEye@DailyNewsZim@InfoMinZW
