Three Early Childhood Development (ECD) pupils were struck by lightning as they were walking home from school.

The three pupils from Rusike Primary School, in Goromonzi, Mashonaland East Province died after they were struck by lightning.

Goromonzi District Civil Protection Unit sources said a fourth pupil survived with burns and was being treated at Ruwa Rehabilitation Hospital.
