By A Correspondent- An 8-year-old girl died from drowning at Queens Sports Club swimming pool on Friday.

Alexis Ncube was playing with her friends when they went to the deep end and started struggling to stay afloat.

Narrating the ordeal, a source that spoke to the publication said:

Two of the children were pulled out by a worker at the club while the third disappeared under the murky water. No one dared to go in after her and someone had to call for help from a person who was passing by

The Incident was confirmed by Bulawayo Police Spokesperson Chief Inspector Precious Simango.
