Own Correspondent| News filtering from the ongoing politburo meeting indicates that Zanu PF Youth League Deputy Secretary Lewis Matutu and Political Commissar Godfrey Tsenengamu have been suspended from the party for one year on charges of not following laid down procedures in their fight against corruption.

According to unconfirmed reports, Matutu is alleged to have walked out of the Politburo meeting in protest.

Their suspended reportedly came after President Emmerson Mnangagwa told the politburo meeting that he will not tolerate activism that threatens party unity.

Youth league Secretary for Information Tendai Chirau takes over the leadership of the organ.
