Prince Kudakwashe Musarurwa of the “Ndiro Rudo” fame who died on Saturday is expected to be buried in Musarurwa village in Zvimba this Tuesday.
32-year-old Musarurwa died at Chinhoyi Provincial Hospital on Saturday night after succumbing to cancer, according to his uncle veteran Blues and Jazz singer Gift Musarurwa.
National Arts Council of Zimbabwe Deputy Director Josiah Kusena described the death of Musarurwa as a sad loss to the arts industry.
Musarurwa, became a household name after he released the single ‘Runonzi Rudo’ in 2013 on which he featured his niece Pah Chihera.
Kurarama was Prince’s first album composed of six tracks.
In 2012, Prince’s second album, Gara Muberevere was released and songs like MaMoyo and the title track Gara Muberevere became popular hits.
Mourners are gathered at his rural home in Zvimba.
