STATEMENT ON THE ILLEGITIMACY OF MR E.D. MNANGAGWA & PARLIAMENTARY BUSINESS

The MDC Alliance Congress and National Council resolutions on the illegitimacy of Emmerson Mnangagwa remains unchanged and as such continues to guide the conduct of all party organs including our Parliament caucus.

In addition, the National Council re-engagement resolution on Parliament post the unlawful recalls initiated by our erstwhile colleagues led by Douglas Mwonzora working in cohorts with Zanu PF remains in force.

Our MPs and the party leadership in Parliament will, therefore, be guided by these resolutions and continue not to recognise an illegitimate Mnangagwa who lost the 2018 election to President Nelson Chamisa
