Opposition MDC Alliance national spokesperson, advocate Fadzayi Mahere has said an award-winning Zimbabwean journalist and filmmaker Hopewell Chin’ono who was denied bail in the high Court On Thursday is now officially a political prisoner.

Mahere posted on Twitter urging the citizenry to continue demanding Chin’ono’s freedom. She said:

Chin’ono’s arrest and that of opposition leader, Jacob Ngarivhume of Transform Zimbabwe sparked controversy and attracted attention from the international community.
