The ruling ZANU PF party has reignited its impunity on Zimbabwean citizens which may see a host of locals fleeing the country yet again to seek refuge around the world.

Last week, a few brave citizens took to the streets to protest against corruption. They were also calling for the government to work on improving the economic situation in the country, they were instead met with a hard hand by security forces.

Almost all of the few demonstrators, including journalists and opposition party members were immediately arrested. Several more suspected activists have since been rounded up and detained.
