ZUPCO has been dragged to the court for failure to provide public transport during the lockdown period amid the Covid pandemic.
The situation has seen passengers being brutalized and harassed by soldiers for failure to adhere to the curfew rules prescribed by the State. The matter was heard before Justice Chitapi and the merits of the case will be heard on the 18th of August 2020 at the High Court of Zimbabwe premises in Harare.
