British ambassador to Zimbabwe, Melanie Robinson held a crucial meeting with MDC-Alliance leader, Advocate Nelson Chamisa on Wednesday.

Ambassador Robinson described the meeting as fruitful.

The engagement with Advocate Chamisa is part of broad political consultations with Zimbabwean stakeholders to see how the United Kingdom can intervene in the political crisis in the country, according to the ambassador.

“We continue to engage across the political spectrum to understand how the United Kingdom can best support Zimbabweans,” Robinson wrote on Twitter.
