265 new coronavirus cases and 9 deaths have been recorded in the last 24 hours, bringing the cumulative figures to 5 643 and 150 respectively.

Of the 265 new cases, 254 were local and 11 are returnees from South Africa.

Harare Metropolitan Province reported 6 deaths and each of Mash Central, Masvingo and Mash West reported one death.

337 total recoveries were reported countrywide, with Mat South contributing 188 of the total figure.
