By Jane Mlambo| Information Secretary Nick Mangwana has confirmed that a warrant of arrest has been issued against Chitungwiza Mayor Lovemore Maiko and his deputy.

“In other matters, a warrant of arrest has been issued against the Mayor Chitungwiza Town Council and another for the Deputy Mayor,” said Mangwana while posting on Twitter.

This followed the arrested of all remaining City of Harare councillors by the Special Anti-Corruption Unit from President Emmerson Mnangagwa’s office.
