Tinashe Sambiri|MDC Alliance official, Grademan Mbira, has implored party members to embrace constructive criticism.

This follows articles written by prominent journalist Hopewell Chin’ono pointing out the strengths and weaknesses of the popular movement.

As a councillor and a public official, I am very happy with the feedback from Hopewell “Daddy Hope” Chin’ono.

True democrats must be able to easily embrace positive criticism. Constructive criticism is when we are given feedback from others on how we can improve our programmes.

Daddy Hope has challenged me to work towards building the best possible institution which thrives for the betterment of people’s lives. I have to listen to advice from others which I believe, will benefit individuals, institutions and societies.

It is not our culture to attack those who criticise us, we rather must be empathetic to them. There’s always something to learn from their comments.
