By Jane Mlambo| MDC Alliance President Nelson Chamisa has laid into controversial cleric Passion Java, confessing little knowledge about him except his hilarious lifestyle as shown in his social media videos.

Chamisa was speaking at the funeral of Buhera senator Christine Rambanepasi who was the mother to the controversial cleric Passion and late MDC Alliance legislator Vimbai Tsvangirai’s husband Batsirai Java.

“Prophet Passion. Twabam handizivi kuti nyaya yavo ndeyei asi vanotapira,” he said drawing laughter from mourners.

Passion Java has made a name for himself not for his clerical role but as a socialite who flaunts his riches on social media.
