Zimbabwe Lawyers for Human Rights (ZLHR) has filed a High Court application to compel the Zimbabwe Prison and Correctional Services to provide Prison Officers with Personal Protective Equipment as part of measures to protect inmates from contracting the Covid-19 disease.

ZLHR is also seeking to compel authorities to improve conditions in the country’s prisons.
