By James Gwati-The announcement by the government Monday, that the authorities have now takenover the funeral of the late former Studio 263 actress, Anne Nhira, is a great relief to the bereaved family which was appealing for support to transport the body of the deceased to Zimbabwe for burial.

Chief Secretary to the President and Cabinet Dr Misheck Sibanda, confirmed that the government was now taking over the funeral of the late actress, meaning that even the repatriation of her body from South Africa could now be facilitated by the state.

Anne Nhira died in South Africa last week from injuries she sustained from a robbery attack.
