By James Gwati-Warriors coach, Zdravko Logarusic has dominated his 42-men squad facing Zambia and Botswana in the Afcon qualifiers with Bulawayo boys.

It seems the Croatian football manager, who on overall, has coached in four continents: Africa, Europe, Asia, Oceania and North America and has more than 20 years of coaching experience, has identified Bulawayo as the home of football.

Perhaps of interest is how his 16 players are drawn from every position: goalkeepers, defenders, midfielders and forwards. In short: there is a more than capable Bulawayo option for every imaginable position in Zdravko’s squad.

Lest we forget, 10 of the 16 ply their trade beyond our borders (Europe – two, Africa – eight) while only six play in Zimbabwe!

Marvelous Nakamba and Teenage Hadebe are the two players based in Europe. Divine Lunga, Peter Muduhwa, Butholezwe Ncube, Kudakwashe Mahachi, Thabani Kamusoko Prince Dube, Knox Mutizwa and Talbert Shumba ply their trades in South Africa, Tanzania and Zambia.
The five players that do duty in Zimbabwe are Ariel Sibanda, Andrew Mbeba, Farau Matare, Shadreck Nyahwa, Brian Banda and Kevin Madzongwe.
