Netsai Marova, one of the three MDC Alliance ladies allegedly abducted by suspected state security agents last year was yesterday denied access to see the incarcerated duo of Joana Mamombe and Cecelia Chimbiri who are being held at Chikurubi maximum prison.

According to Marova, the prison officer at the gate told her that there was an instruction that they should only be visited by one person per day.

Posting on Twitter, Marova said;

1/2 Painful and heartbreaking to note and i am at Chikurubi Female Prison now together with ldr @MaureenKade but we are being denied access to see the duo. The officer at the gate says there is a new instruction that they can now only be visited by 1 person the whole day.

2/3 @JoanaMamombe is on serious medication and jst to think of her being denied access to warm food 3 times a day after being forcefully discharged out of hospital without any doctors advice is clearly being evil. The duo are accused person’s of an unlawful charge.
