By A Correspondent-The Registrar General’s Office, is battling with clearing a passport backlog.

According to the state media, the RG’s office is yet to clear a 200 000 backlog and has only managed to process less than half of the number.

This is causing corruption at the RG’s office as officials demand bribes from applicants.
