By Dorrothy Moyo | Uganda President Yoweri Museveni’s 48 year old son, has made a public appearance after reports swirled that he is unwell.

Billows of talk went wild all over Uganda that President Museveni’s son has fallen ill. There was neither comment nor mention in the state media.

Museveni’s son, Lieutenant General Muhoozi Kainerugaba, a British trained soldier, was promoted a week ago, reports Nairobi news.’

He was elevated to the rank of Commander of Land Forces in the Uganda Army, in what analysts said was suspicious.

Speaking over the rumours that he was recently flown to Nairobi for treatment, Muhoozi said: “Some friends of mine like Alan Kasujja told me that some enemies were declaring me dead, or very ill from Covid-19. I’m very well.

“This is the third time in my military career that enemies are claiming I’m dead. The funny thing is every time they do that Almighty God blesses me more,” Muhoozi said in a tweet.
