the Health and Social care overseas recruitment process by immigration registered sponsors.

Nurses and Doctors have to first register with the required professional boards in the U.K.

This requirement is for – auxiliary nurses and care workers.

To be successful, you need to

1). Get your Nurse Aid qualifications assessed by NARIC (A board that asses overseas qualifications)
2) Get an English test with a pass of 6.5 to 7.0. ( IELTS tests are registered through British Council Zimbabwe and cost USD320.00
3) Get a Medical Examination for TB screening (check the approved Doctors) $165
4) Get a police clearance- amount: $100
5) Apply for a job on the NHS job board or any registered Social Care portal. Make sure they are registered as sponsors. (quote the sponsors registration number).


6) Get an online interview. Submit all your documents as listed.
7) If you pass the interview you get a job offer. The sponsor normally offers to pay for your visa application and Air ticket including the first month accommodation. If the Employer does not offer to pay, make sure you have sufficient funds.
