The Zimbabwe Warriors and Cameroon played out a thrilling 0-0 draw in their 2025 AFCON Qualifier Group J match at the Nelson Mandela Stadium in Kampala, Uganda on Tuesday.

The highly anticipated match saw both teams create scoring opportunities, but neither could find the back of the net. Cameroon’s Aboubakar came close in the 90+1′ minute with a shot from a corner kick, but it sailed wide of the target.

The Warriors made a late substitution in the 90+6′ minute, bringing on Hadebe for Mapfumo, while Cameroon replaced Baleba with Ntcham in the same minute.

Despite four minutes of added time, neither team could break the deadlock, resulting in a share of the spoils.

The draw leaves both teams with a point each in Group J, setting up an exciting road ahead in the AFCON qualifiers.
