In a recent statement, ZANU PF’s Director of Information, Farai Muroiwa Marapira, emphasized the party’s unwavering support for Emmerson Dambudzo Mnangagwa, dismissing any claims of factional fights within its ranks.

Marapira asserted that “every member, including the Second Secretaries, are united behind the President’s leadership, demonstrating an unshakable loyalty to the party’s cause.”

This declaration comes in the wake of ongoing criticism from opposition groups and allegations of internal discord.

Marapira highlighted the challenges ZANU PF faces, particularly from “continuously funded propaganda campaigns” that have been targeting the party since Zimbabwe’s independence.

He insisted that these efforts have failed to undermine the party’s cohesion or its commitment to the nation.

“The propaganda is seen for what it is,” Marapira stated, “an attempt to destabilize a strong, forward-moving nation.”

He underscored that Zimbabwe is steadfast in its identity and direction, remaining largely impervious to external distractions.

Under Mnangagwa’s leadership, ZANU PF claims significant progress has been made, with Marapira expressing confidence that “the leadership remains resolute, the party is united, and Zimbabwe sails steadily toward a prosperous horizon.”

He framed this unity as essential for the country’s future, asserting that the party’s collective focus is on maintaining stability and fostering national growth.
