A beautiful beastly male lion has been found shot dead in a development that now endangers the rest of the lion family in the area.
Indications are that ‘Cecil’ as he was popularly called, and the only male lion, was killed by a hunting company just “for fun.”
The Matebeleland based Bushman Safaris Zimbabwe company has been named as the culprits behind the gruesome act. ” they are KILLING AFRICA’S LIONS & Wildlife for Profit & Fun,” a protest banner read of the firm which kills wildlife as a sport.
Cecil had a pride of 3 Lioness & 7 young Cubs all endangered of being killed now since his departure because female lions “practice infanticide and will kill unrelated cubs. The inevitable is unfortunate,” according to conservation experts.
As the nation loses more animals, elephants, buffaloes and hyenas to the company Zimbabweans have been asked to contact Bushman Safaris Zimbabwe to express their disgust at the act. MORE PICTURES:

I am only seeing whites here, i thought u said land invasion killed safari hunting.
This Safari company, i thought the law can only act on them if their hunts are outside their quoter of if they are doing so illegally.Are they not paying their Taxes or the stipulated trophy fees.
There so many lions being killed, some without names and they bringing revenue to Parks and Wildlife so that the ZANU thieves will dine and wine.
We understand some animal lovers are emotional about this because they know the animal by name,So don’t get attached to wild life because we poach and sell them to china.
