Terrence Mawawa, Masvingo | The MDC Masvingo Urban District Youth Assembly has said President Emmerson Mnangagwa’ s days in office are numbered because he will be trounced by the party’s youthful Presidential candidate Nelson Chamisa in the coming elections.

The MDC Masvingo Urban Youth Assembly members Peace Mapope and Maxwell Madhuna yesterday released a joint statement predicting a landslide victory for Chamisa in the coming elections.

“We would like to make it clear that we fully support the resolution of the National Council to endorse Advocate Nelson Chamisa as the Acting President of MDC-T as well as the Presidential candidate of both the MDC Alliance and the MDC-T in the harmonised elections to be held this year.

This is a step in the right direction as we seek to end the ZANU PF misrule.

We strongly believe that this country needs young and vibrant leaders who understand governance such that they can articulate issues on behalf of the people.

It’s high time we stop politics of the belly, bickering and factionalism.

Mnangagwa and his ZANU PF honchos’ days in office are numbered.

Advocate Nelson Chamisa will usher in a new political dispensation in the country.
