Terrence Mawawa, Masvingo| Former Vice President Joice Mujuru has made a passionate plea to G-40 members who are being persecuted by President Emmerson Mnangagwa’ s administration to join her party in the final march towards political emancipation.

Addressing members of the People’s Rainbow Coalition and disgruntled Zanu PF elements in Rhodhene, Masvingo on Friday, Mujuru explained why she would not be part of the MDC Alliance.

She said the People’s Rainbow Coalition would trounce Emmerson Mnangagwa’ s struggling ruling party.

“We know there are people who are being persecuted for supporting former President Robert Mugabe and we are calling on them to join the People’s Rainbow Coalition,” said Mujuru.

She added: “Let me announce that we will not join the MDC Alliance because of four reasons.I will clarify the issue before the elections.”
