The first group of the Zimbabwe Warriors squad comprising
local based players arrived in Ndola, Zambia
yesterday ahead of the invitational tournament expected to kick off on Thursday.

“The first batch of the Warriors squad is already in Ndola,
Zambia for the tournament.

They left early in the
morning (yesterday),” ZIFA communications officer,
Xolisani Gwesela told The Herald.

“The South Africa-based players took a direct flight
from Johannesburg to Zambia.They have since
linked up with the locally-based players who are
already in Ndola.

Sunday Chidzambwa will be assisted by
Dynamos coach Lloyd Mutasa and Rahman Gumbo.

The tournament features Zimbabwe, South Africa,
Angola and hosts Zambia.
