As the watershed elections draw near, Zimbabwe will see yet another coalition, POVO launched this Thursday.

Dubbed the Coalition of Independent Candidates: POVO, the political grouping is set to be launched at the Harare Gardens from 4pm to 6 pm.

According to information availed to ZimEye, POVO has so far drawn the buy in of Independent candidates running for council posts in Harare Metropolitan Province.

Pastor Evan Mawarire of the popular the #ThisFlag is one of the members of the Coalition while Esther Vongai Zimudzi, who will be contesting as a councillor in Hatfield also belongs to POVO.
