Disgruntled elements in the country’ s main opposition party MDC, have accused National Youth Assembly leader, Happymore Chidziva, popularly known as Bvondo of imposing unpopular candidates- subverting the will of the people in the process.

There was chaos here yesterday as party members chanted slogans- denouncing Chidziva for allegedly working with the party’ s provincial leadership to impose their preferred candidates against the will of the people.

“Unfortunately our esteemed youth leader, Bvondo has stooped so low to get involved in electoral processes at ward level.

Yesterday there was commotion here as angry party members lambasted Chidziva for meddling in low level political activities.

He imposed a candidate of his choice in ward 7, against the will of the people” said a senior party official.

Chidziva was not immediately available for a comment on the matter.
