Angry revellers here have blamed President Emmerson Mnangagwa’ s government for the shortage to beer in the province.
There is a glaring shortage of beer in the province and angry revellers are calling on Mnangagwa’ s government to sort out the foreign currency debacle in the country.
Delta, the leading supplier of beverages in Zimbabwe has indicated that the shortage of beer is a direct result of the dearth of foreign currency.
“Mnangagwa must solve the issue as a matter of urgency. Even Uncle Bob’s government never made such a monumental gaffe,” said a Masvingo based bar attendant.
“We are selling a bottle of Super Chibuku is being sold at $ 2- which is very disappointing.
The government has to resolve the condition before it is too late,” said another bar attendant.
Angry revellers have indicated there will be a popular uprising if the problems is not solved.
