Ngezi Platinum coach Tonderai Ndiraya has remained modest despite his side’ s fine run.
The Platinum side from Ngezi occupy top spot on
the ladder and have a three point lead over the
second-placed FC Platinum going into their
matchday 12.
They were convincing 2-1 winners over Caps United
on Sunday .
Lauded for their attacking style, Ngezi have proved -in
the past weeks- they can win even when playing well
below their best.
Ndiraya has refused to get carried away by the dream start to the season.
“We’ve got a 24-hour rule; when we play and we
win, we celebrate for 24 hours. We will not be
distracted from our focus, we’ve played 11 games
and we still have 69 points to play for – it’s still a long
journey.
We
need to stay focused and start thinking of our next
match against Bulawayo City, who have a new
coach, and that is going to be a tricky assignment,”
said Ndiraya.
