A prison warden yesterday forced junior officers to chant Zanu PF maxims.

According to sources in the Zimbabwe Prisons and Correctional Services, Senior Assistant Commissioner
Manhivi yesterday ordered junior officers in Karoi to vote for the ruling party Zanu PF.

” Assistant Commissioner Manhivi addressed prison officers at our prison
station yesterday.

He said we must bear in mind that those who did not participate in the liberation war would not be allowed to rule Zimbabwe,” said a prison officer who spoke on condition of anonymity.

Manhivi also allegedly forced junior officers to chant Zanu PF slogans.
